Oil use:

Today we will cook the kitchen classic, delicious "Fettuccine Alfredo". Traditionally, the sauce that accompanies this pasta is made with a base of butter and Parmesan, to which light cream or whipping cream are added. We suggest swapping the butter for extra virgin olive oil, to give it an extra touch of flavor. To this base sauce, we can add various ingredients such as bacon or prawns.

Cook the pasta according to the manufacturer's instructions. Reserve a glass of water from cooking the pasta.
To prepare the Alfredo sauce, heat the extra virgin olive oil. Add the garlic and prawns. Season with salt and sauté.
Remove the prawns once they are golden brown and put them to one side.
Now, we need to add the cream and oil to the pan and sauté. Then add the chopped parsley, a little ground pepper to taste, and cook for about 3-4 minutes over medium heat.
Now it's time to add the grated cheese to the sauce. Stir until the cheese has melted and the texture is smooth.
Now we have the creamy sauce, add the prawns. Next, add the pasta. If the sauce is too thick, you can add the glass of cooking water to the pasta.
Cook the pasta and sauce for a couple of minutes and serve. For the final touch, add a little cheese and parsley on top.
