Preheat the oven to 360ºF.
Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into thin slices.
Beat the egg and add salt and pepper. Next, add the beaten egg to the potatoes.
Boil the milk and cream and add it to the potato and egg mixture, stirring well so that the potatoes are well coated.
Grease the dish you will use to bake the potatoes and rub with a clove of garlic.
Alternate layers of potatoes and grated cheese, ending with cheese.
Bake over medium heat for about 50 minutes. Then, cut into portions and serve.
