Additionally, it is a fully edible vegetable, including the leaves and stalks, and very quick to cook.

Rinse the chard leaves well. Separate the thick stalks from the leaves.

Cut the chard, keeping the stalks separated from the leaves.

Sauté the garlic, pepper and cilantro in a pan until the garlic is slightly golden.

First add the stems. Stir and cover, leaving them to cook for 3-4 minutes.

Next, add the leaves of the chard, stirring all the ingredients. Cover and leave to cook for several minutes. Mix all the ingredients well and try them, allowing them to cook for a few minutes longer if necessary.

Serve decorated with pomegranate seeds (optional).
