Who doesn’t like a nice slice of pizza? Today we want to share this recipe for making the best vegan pizza base with cauliflower. Suitable for everyone, it does not contain eggs or lactose, but does have the same texture and flavor. Additionally, if we decide to use flax seeds in its preparation, we will obtain a crispy texture which will make it irresistible to everyone. Let’s get to work!

First, preheat the oven to 375ºF. Cover a large tray with baking paper.

If using fresh cauliflower, boil for around 10 to 15 minutes until it is soft. Once cooked, drain and blend until obtaining cauliflower rice.

Drain well to remove excess water.

Next, add the ground flax or chia seeds, almond flour, salt, garlic and oil.

Stir well so that all ingredients are mixed together. We can add a tablespoon of water if necessary to make the dough.

Put the dough on the baking tray, pressing and shaping it with your hands to give it the desired size and thickness.

Bake for 45 minutes, checking it after 30 minutes to make sure it does not burn. Remove from the oven.

Once the base is firm and dry, add your favorite pizza ingredients then return to the oven for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve hot.
