Beef Chili Recipe!

Beef Chili  is a delicious dish with a bit of a kick, which makes it perfect for a dinner with friends. It is made of ground beef, kidney beans and tomatoes. It is usually served with nachos and cheddar cheese, although you can also eat it with white rice. Here you will find the recipe and all the ingredients with step-by-step directions so you can cook this tasty meal at home!



Ingredients (4 pax.)

  • 2 tablespoons of Unico Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
  • 1 large onion.
  • 3 cloves of garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (or 2 dried chili peppers).
  • 1,1 lb. ground beef.
  • 2 tablespoons of ground cumin.
  • 1+3/4 cup canned tomatoes, whole.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
  • 2 cups of beef broth.
  • 2 teaspoons of dried oregano.
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme.
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar.
  • 2 cups of kidney beans, canned.


  1. Heat the olive oil in a thick-bottomed pot. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  2. Then add the chopped garlic, chili powder and ground beef. Continue sautéing and stirring, until the meat begins to brown.
  3. Next, add the broth, drained tomatoes, cumin, Worcestershire sauce, herbs and sugar. Let simmer for 40 minutes, stirring the mixture to prevent clumps from forming.
  4. Then, add the kidney beans (drained) and let cook another 15 minutes, or until the stew is thick.
  5. Garnish with parsley or fresh cilantro and serve hot.
