BBQ chicken skewers recipe for grilling!

Do you still feel like having a little summer? No problem!  Today you can make these tasty rosemary bbq chicken skewers for the grill to win over your family and friends. As any type of sauce or dressing can be used with chicken, different flavors can easily be achieved with this basic kitchen ingredient.

And, if time isn’t on your side, don’t worry: you can make these skewers in a frying pan or put them in the oven at 392ºF instead of grilling them.

We recommend that you make a good number of our skewers as they’re sure not to last long on your table.

Ingredients (8 pax)

  • 2 breasts of organic chicken.
  • 2 tablespoons of dried or fresh rosemary (chopped).
  • 2 cloves of garlic.
  • 1 tablespoon of honey.
  • 3 tablespoons of lemon or lime juice.
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard.
  • 1 tablespoon of Único exta virgin olive oil.
  • Salt and black pepper.
  • Parsley for garnishing.

Preparation of bbq chicken skewers:

  1. Start by filleting the chicken breasts, but be sure not to slice them too thin. Next, cut your fillets into portions. Season in a bowl.
  2. Now it’s time to prepare the marinade. To do that, put all the ingredients into a recipient with a lid: the dried or fresh rosemary (chopped), the cloves of garlic (well minced), the honey, the lemon or lime juice, the mustard, and the extra virgin olive oil. Close the recipient and shake well to mix all the ingredients.
  3. Next, pour the mixture onto the strips of chicken and cover with cling wrap. Let the chicken marinate for about 10 minutes.
  4. Once that time has passed, put the portions of meat onto the skewers.
  5. Cook on the grill for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side until the chicken is well cooked but still juicy.
  6. Decorate with slices of lemon and chopped parsley.
