November and Thanksgiving go hand in hand. On the fourth Thursday of the month, families do the same thing at dinner time: sit at the table to eat stuffed roast turkey. Thanksgiving is a day for celebrating as a family and sharing experiences, enjoying the typical foods and activities carried out with neighbours in each neighbourhood. People celebrate this day in advance – as a tradition, houses are decorated, thereby creating a warm, festive, pleasant atmosphere.
At front doors, pumpkins of all sizes and wreaths of dried fruits can be seen; and at the table, the star dish is stuffed roast turkey. That’s why today we want to share an easy stuffed roast turkey recipe to bring Thanksgiving to your table.

Wash the turkey.

Make a paste with 3 cloves of garlic, salt and oil.

Stuff the turkey with the carrot, the onion cut in half, the half lemon, a bunch of parsley, a little of the garlic paste and salt.

Truss the turkey with cooking twine.

Cover the skin with the paste of garlic, salt and oil.

Place the turkey on an oven rack with the breast downwards, and place on a tray to collect all the juices.

Cook the turkey for one hour at 392ºF. Next, turn the turkey over, covering it with kitchen foil and lower the temperature to 347ºC for two hours. After this time, lower the temperature to 230ºF.

The turkey will be ready when the meat thermometer reads 334ºF in the thigh, and 320°FC in the breast.
