Delicious sugar-free muffins & chocolate chips recipe!

Today we´re going to cook some delicious sugar-free muffins with chocolate chips. Undoubtedly the best way of enjoying the weekend, preparing this healthy sugar-free snack for the family. There are several different versions of this recipe – all you need to do is to replace the chocolate chips with another complement such as strawberries or raspberries. Delicious!

Extra virgin olive oil | Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra















Ingredients (4 pax.)

  • 2 cups of flour.
  • 1/2 cup of granular sweetener.
  • 2 teaspoons of yeast.
  • 1 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate.
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil. 
  • 1 cup of milk.
  • 1 organic egg.
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.


  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF while you prepare the non-stick baking tray for your muffins.
  2. First of all, mix the dry ingredients: the flour, sweetener, yeast and bicarbonate.
  3. Using another bowl, mix the other ingredients: the milk, olive oil, vanilla extract and the egg. Once the ingredients have been well mixed, add it to the initial mixture and stir it until you have obtained a uniform mix.
  4. Fill 2/3 of each baking mould and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes until the muffins are brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool for 10-15 minutes to enable the chocolate chips to take shape.
